Precast Form Spreader Beam
Project: Los Angeles Rams Stadium Inglewood, CA.
The attached photos of this spreader beam assembly are being used for the construction of the new LA Rams Stadium in Inglewood, CA. A large civil contractor is responsible for the precast column segments on the project and the spreader beam assembly will be used for this portion of their work. The unique shape of the precast pieces required a specially designed system that would allow adjustments for multiple precast sizes.
The scope of this job started with detailed shop drawings based on the engineered drawings provided by the customer. In addition to the fabrication of these beams F&M MAFCO also supplied the required shackles to complete the assembly. F&M MAFCO’s supply division stocks a large inventory of shackles and thousands of other rigging, welding and construction supplies. Once the fabrication was complete the final task included in F&M MAFCO's scope and required to complete this job was load testing the components per the design requirements. Our customers rely on the added value F&M MAFCO offers for a turnkey job from drawings to delivery. Contact us to learn more about our custom fabrication services!
